I've lost soooooooo many mobile phones that i've lost count.
i'm really depressed and frustrated. My 2nd iphone 3gs lasted.... 2 months.

2009 was slightly better than 2008 but it was marred with my grandma's passing.
As for career wise, things are certainly on the positive side (huat ah!) and i will make sure things stay this way.
2010 is filled with hopes of fulfilling dreams and i'm looking forward to a loooooong holiday towards the year end! :) Nonetheless, here comes the typical new year resolutions...
1) lose weight and compete in a half-marathon
2) save and earn more money
(then i can buy my *****, ***** etc .)
3) stay healthy
4) travel more
Places i've travelled to in 2009:
- japan
- vietnam
- langkawi
Places I want to visit in 2010:
- paris, italy, rome (maybe drop by london especially during their summer sale! their sales are the best!)
- hongkong ( to buy h&m muahaha)
Places I may have to travel to in 2010:
- MEI GUO ( it all depends on B's situation)
5) be more punctual
6) meet up with friends more often ( i think i did it pretty okay in 2009)

And if it turns out to be butt ugly, i have only yours truly to blame.

in a short span of two weeks...
1) i managed to misplace my iphone at hitachi towers and it was switched off 5 minutes later. Subsequently bought another iphone within 3 hours after queueing at Singtel for 1 hour.
2) i ordered alot of lingerie from VS on a whim.
3) My car battery went flat after I unknowingly left the headlights on.
4) This SUV hit me from behind at the newton circus roundabout and scratched my car door. The driver just sped off and I couldn't see his/her carplate number.
5) Sat through a very awkward 6 course dinner with the big bosses seated right opposite me. Talk about unfortunate seating arrangements.
Maybe I should just stay at home and hibernate, I suppose that is a safer alternative.

i've been indulging in huge amounts of wine for the past 5 weekends and all is good.
picture post to be up soon (i overpromise) but there's the october babies' gourmet bbq coming up in 2 hours' time. We spent the entire evening yesterday marinating succulent cuts of beef and lamb in preparation for the chillout session later.
moscato and bordeaux will be the drinks for the night.

The 7th day of rest was conclusively unrested as it was rudely interrupted during my bedtime by squeals and groans from the parents. Not exactly what you've pictured but... this is how they normally react when they watch a liverpool match. Imagine being separated by a very thick wall, the high decibels somehow managed to penetrate through the cement to my already ear-plugged ears.
The weekend also rewarded me with a flat tyre which didn't catch my attention until i've zipped through plaza sing's 7 floors worth of carpark.
"hmmm, the steering wheel feels oddly tilted to the left."
AND it happened again yesterday evening when I thought all was fine and dandy after my dad brought it to the workshop. Perhaps there's some paris hilton-thin nail that escaped the naked eye. So I took halfday leave today to get it fixed and the sky looks like it's about to pelt raindrops soon.
FML.

I'm sick of being sick. Extremely sick. I've had gastric flu, severe diarrhoea, flu, fever and now cough for the past month and counting. It suddenly dawned upon me that B could be exposing me to all these bacteria that cling onto him when he goes to the wards. OMG.
And now that he will be based at the wards daily starting from August, does that mean I've to wear a N95 mask when we go out ?! -_-
hmm... when in doubt, blame the boyfriend. ;) But hey! My theory sounds logical.
Oh, I'm heading to Japan with the parents and cousin for a holiday in Sept. WOOT!

Today started out as a great day; until 10 minutes ago. I received a phone call from a certain insurance company who tried to recruit me. It's very normal to get these kinda phone calls but this one really takes the cake.
Despite me trying extremely hard to politely end the conversation, he kept on asking WHY I don't wanna consider his company. What really pissed me off wasn't his persistence but this --> he asked, " are you sure you do not want to consider us as you can double your income?? We are not dealing with insurance but with risk management. "
I replied, " no but thank you for calling."
And the bugger replied sarcastically, " oh really? That's very interesting." I could hear him sneering over the phone.
Firstly, what is sooooo interesting? Double my income my ASS.. So he can assume how much i earn just from a phone conversation? Secondly, if his job is that great he wouldn't be calling people past 8pm to join his company.
Damn Mondays and I'm still using my iPhone. Argh.

So if you are on my facebook, you would have known that my laptop has finally.... passed on. :'( ( it has been 4 days)
poor toshiba baby, you have served me well during uni days.
I'm using my mum's lappie now instead of using my iphone. It's incredibly tiring to surf the net while staring into a tiny screen.
A month has passed since i've last blogged... there's alot of changes in my life. Both good and bad, but mostly good. Anyhow, like they always say --- life goes on. I'm off to the ritz to have B's dad's birthday dinner later. Luckily it's not a buffet but ala carte. Suffered from a bout of gastric flu and thus, I can't stomach much food.
Hopefully, by the next update I will be using my new laptop! I've yet to decide on what to buy but I know that getting a Mac is going to lead to plenty of adjustments. *troublesome*

So yesterday when I was on my way to gym at vivocity... this old uncle reversed his vehicle into mine at the entrance of the carpark. Apparently he was trying to take another route into the car park, so he tried reversing out instead. -_- He was very apologetic but seriously very blur.
Thankfully he agreed to pay (after all it's his fault) and hence, today was spent at the workshop. I have zero affinity with VIVOCITY's carpark. The last time I was there with Su and Ahmahchan we spent 30 minutes looking for my lost car in the basement carpark. Damn frustrating.
My niece turns 1 today. How time flies....
